   the hot runner system is equipped with heating rods and heating rings around the runner during operation. Therefore, the whole runner from the nozzle outlet of the injection molding machine to the gate is at high temperature, and the plastic in the runner remains in the molten state all the time. Even after shutdown, you don't need to open the runner to take out the molten material, as long as you heat it to the required temperature when you start it next time. So how to maintain the hot runner during operation and after shutdown?
  first: it is necessary to determine the use and maintenance personnel. If problems are found, immediately communicate with the maintenance personnel or the manufacturer to express what problems occur under what circumstances, so as to ensure that the maintenance personnel can apply the medicine to the case in time.
  second: if you repair by yourself, you should pay attention to the following points:
   1. If the plastic is highly sensitive to temperature or corrosive, it is necessary to use PP to remove the residual melt after each shutdown;
   2. At ordinary times, it is necessary to clear all sundries such as water vapor, mist and oil stains attached to the hot runner to prevent rust of hot runner system components;
   3. If the mold is kept for a long time, the heater may be eroded by moisture, and dehumidification is required before use;
   4. If the hot runner needle valve system is used, it needs to be maintained every two months to prevent poor movement caused by carbonization or air dust scaling.
